Are you a master organizer with a passion for all things IT? We're seeking a skilled individual to take the reins of our IT stockroom and ensure that every asset is accounted for and tracked in our asset registry. If you're up for the challenge of overseeing the day-to-day operations and keeping our IT inventory on point, we want to hear from you!
What we’re looking for:
- Matric certificate a must have and IT qualification is desirable
- 1 year + previous stock room experience
- A motivated individual who takes initiative and collaborates seamlessly
- A skilful communicator
- Stickler for detail; excellent communication skills; great organisational skills
A day in your life?
- Receive and inspect all new IT equipment deliveries against POD and raise vendor queries for short deliveries
- Stock management by keeping track of inventory levels to ensure that there is enough inventory on hand to meet new store demands
- Assist with Server / Till device imaging on new / returned stock, assist with setting up / configuring stock for new stores and liaise with New Store Project Manager for QA.
- Test returned / faulty inventory.
- Consult with Purchasing agent to return stock under warranty / faulty equipment for repairs to relevant vendors.
